DCS partnership working

The Virtual Staff College is leading the development of DCSs or chief officers with responsibility for children’s services provision on behalf of the Children’s Improvement Board and its Leadership Forum.

The Children’s Improvement Board

Core Membership:

• Local Government Group (LGG)
• Society of Local Authority Chief Executives (SOLACE)
• Department for Education (DfE)

Leadership Forum

The Leadership Forum core membership comprises:

• Association of Directors of Children’s Services (ADCS)
• Children’s Workforce Development Council (CWDC)
• The Virtual Staff College
• C4EO
• Department for Education (DfE)

In due course it is intended to extend this core membership to include wider stakeholder agencies.
