About succession planning: the national framework
The National College has produced the National Succession Planning Framework for Children’s Services to provide guidance and support for those planning and promoting the initiative. It is supported by a partnership agreement and a succession planning grant. A range of materials are available to support the use of the framework. The regional work has been developed in association with the Association of Directors of Children’s Services (ADCS) and is being implemented by the director of children’s services (DCS) groups in the regions.
